Teacher of Geography

FULL TIME, PERMANENT 

MPR/UPR (suitable for ECTs) 

We are looking for a committed and passionate teacher to join our Geography Department on a permanent basis starting in September 2026. (We would be willing to consider a start date of April 2026 for the right candidate). 

You would be expected to teach Geography to KS3 and KS4 so previous experience of teaching up to GCSE is essential. Huntington School has a Sixth Form, any experience of teaching A-Level students would be an advantage. 

Huntington is an 11-18 co-educational comprehensive school with a Sixth Form taking our total student numbers to approximately 1516, which includes over 300 students in the Sixth Form. Our students achieve excellent results, year-in, year-out, both at GCSE and A-level. 

Our recent Ofsted Inspection recognised that ‘The curriculum is far-reaching, diverse and exciting. The pupils at this school know what they are learning and why. Leaders have made a conscious decision that the pupils who come to Huntington receive a well-rounded education that enables them to explore subjects in great depth over extended periods. As a result, the pupils thrive.’
