Site Supervisor (Part time)

Part Time (22.5 hours per week) 

GRADE 5 £26,748 - £27,935 (£16,262 - £16,988 reduced pro rata) 

 

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Premises Team as a Site Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in facilities management, site maintenance, and health and safety within a large and dynamic school environment. 

The normal working hours will be 22½ and worked over a 2-week rota as follows: 

  • Week 1: 1.30pm until 6.00pm 

  • Week 2:  6.00am until 10.30am  

It should be noted that hours will be subject to change during school holidays and that overtime may be available to cover annual leave of colleagues. 

Huntington School is a large secondary school with over 1,500 students and 200+ staff. We are committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment for all. The Site Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school site, which includes: 

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and stairwells. 

  • Assist with general site upkeep, minor repairs, and security duties. 

  • Work with other Premises Staff to ensure minimal disruption to teaching and learning. 

  • Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment for all users of the site. 

The ideal candidate would already have some hands-on maintenance experience, be able to work unsupervised and be able to communicate in person, on the phone and via email. A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices would be advantageous, but full training will be given.
